love it sally is inspired to make it today which is a miracle because she has been all about the sourdough these last two weeks the poor bug will just have to sit unloved in the fridge while I make the hot coffee

OMG that was so easy and tastes so good! Made it in a loaf pan and it really rose! Couldn’t wait for the icing to set. This recipe is definitely a keeper, thanks Nici 💕

Isn't the loaf tin just the best?!

It rose really high but easy to cut. The icing hid the bumpy top!

I do use a large loaf tin - 22cm and quite deep - so mine rose to a flat top. One way to avoid the hump is to indent the batter down the middle before putting in the oven.

Mat loaf tin is 23.4cm long, 13cm wide and 6.5cm deep but it rose much higher than the top of the tin.
